Business Overview
WELLalarm™ was launched in 2007 by founder and CEO Stephanie Cion as a response to the gap in the current medical alert and identification system, which only allows for the wearer to identify their illness or allergies on a medical alert tag. WELLalarm™ takes this idea to the next level by creating a revolutionary emergency service and coordinating product line—including WELLcharms™, WELLtags™, key chains, wallet ID cards and stickers—that uses Internet and mobile technology to give the user unprecedented access to their emergency medical information.

The WELLalarm™  system allows users to store their information in two separate areas, the “Emergency Profile” and “Private Profile.” WELLalarm™  users can predesignate certain information to be accessible in their “Emergency Profile,” using our highly optimized mobile site technology. In an emergency, bystanders or first responders can access the user's “Emergency Profile” information via the personalized WELL-ID code, emergency URL, and toll-free number found on each WELLalarm™ product. By entering the user's WELL-ID code, responders can quickly access pre-selected vital information, such as blood type, medications, allergies and emergency contact information by phone, text or web. The rest of the users confidential medical records are stored in the password-protected “Private Profile” section of their WELLalarm™ account, which is completely secure and private.

WELLalarm™ is not limited to those with chronic illness or allergies. A WELLalarm™ account provides a universal way for individuals and families to streamline their health and wellness information. Through their online account, fax, voice, text and email alerts, the user can store and interact with their health information, appointment schedules, emergency contact information and more. Users can also set up a calendar in their WELLalarm™ account that tracks doctor’s appointments, medication reminders and prescription refill reminders.

The WELLalarm™ service is offered as both a standalone online subscription service or linked up for emergency identification use with WELLcharms™, WELLtags™ and other WELLalarm™ products.   • The ability to self-identify your illness or allergy and provide critical, life-saving information in emergency situations to first responders, doctors, medics, teachers, camp counselors or other bystanders via a toll-free number, text, voice system and a website URL inscribed on the WELLalarm™ product
  • 24-hour access to the user’s account via computer or wireless device
  • Automatic notification of emergency contact by phone, text or email is available at the discretion of the user
  • Automatic reminders via email for medications, medical appointments, follow-up calls and refill reminders are included to help users stay on top of healthcare needs.


Our Platinum Level service is a comprehensive wellness solution that empowers users by providing simple, easy-to-use tools with a seamless mobile interface to take their healthcare into their own hands. It includes all of the features of the premium service with the additions of the following tools:

  • Automatic reminders via text and email for medications, medical appointments, follow-up calls and refill reminders. Voice option coming soon.
  • Capacity to transfer the user’s personal medical history, vital documents, immunization record, vision and dental records in and out of the account via uploading and fax
  • Ability to access user’s emergency information in multiple languages

Product Line
The WELLalarm™ product line features smart, sophisticated jewelry called WELLcharms™ and WELLtags™. Available in a variety of finishes including silver, brushed silver, vermeil and gold, the high-end jewelry embraces classic styles for men, elegant design for women and touches of whimsy for children. The WELLalarm™ product line also includes stickers for your cell phone, wallet ID cards, bag labels, key chain tags and clothing labels. Each product is inscribed with a unique WELL-ID code, our emergency website login and toll-free number so a broad spectrum of users can identify themselves to bystanders and first responders in an emergency. Once the product is recognized, emergency medical information can be accessed immediately by calling the service, logging into the emergency site or accessing the mobile service. WELLalarm™ users can upload their vital information about allergies, medications, emergency contacts and blood type, as deemed appropriate when they register their WELLcharm™ or WELLtag™.

Sales and Marketing Channels
WELLalarm™ is committed to empowering businesses, medical providers and non-profits to take responsibility for the health and wellness of their members and the community. WELLalarm™ uses a variety of sales channels including department stores, schools, spas and the Internet. We partner with a variety of charities and associations who wish to provide their members with access to WELLalarm’s products and services at a discount or with special features. The WELLalarm™ service is also sold by third-party companies to businesses who share our company’s vision and wish to make WELLalarm™ part of their wellness offerings to their clients. WELLalarm™ donates its products and services to many charities to support their fundraising efforts and donates a percentage of all sales to its charitable partners including The Neuropathy Foundation, KIDS of NYC and The Asthma and Allergy Foundation.
